14th Asia Copper Conference

The story so far…

Back in late 2010, Editor & Publisher Chris Holding, with the guidance of friend and mentor John Clarke, carried out market research into the European copper sector. The result demonstrated interest in the creation of a new global magazine dedicated to the copper production and processing sector, in the same way that other non-ferrous, ferrous and rare earth metal supply chains are served.

In February 2011, The UK company Metallic Media Limited was set up to publish Copper Worldwide technology magazine. Each Autumn a new Media Pack and Editorial Schedule is circulated, which also details any new plans for the coming period. Summer 2012 saw the first Edition of the Primary Wallmap, followed in 2013 by a Map of the African Copperbelt Region. Other maps are under consideration.

February 2012 saw the first version of the www.copperworldwide.com supporting website launched. The advent primarily of Apple iPads and iPhones (still a significant copper application!) necessitated the current version of the website, and a new service is envisaged going forward.

So the next time you see the following words, you’ll know what to do…

Best regards
